I am a retired Special Education teacher with thirty years experience in the Pennridge School District. All my life I have enjoyed the pleasures that come from traveling within the United States and throughout the world. One of my favorite expressions is, "The world is a book, and he who does not travel, reads only the first page." Both my father and grandfather worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, and every Sunday the family would get into the car and drive the highways my father had helped build. I guess you could say I inherited my wanderlust. Since my fellow colleagues knew of my many travels and that I had designed several In-Service Day trips for the local school district, when I retired in 1993, they encouraged me to turn my avocation into a vocation. With many tour agencies competing in the surrounding area, I knew in order to be successful I had to offer something different. Therefore, I decided to use my background in education to create tours with a difference.

All the tours I designed are:

  • based around a theme
  • aimed at educators, researchers, and people with a keen interest in America's history, culture, heritage, and beauty
  • fully guided using educators and/or people knowledgeable in the theme of the tour
